Job summary

LMI Government Consulting in Virginia is seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to lead automated testing for Army ERP modernization. You will develop test strategies, frameworks, and plans, ensuring reliable testing across the software delivery lifecycle, with remote telework and occasional travel to Fort Lee and Fort Belvoir.

The role requires 10+ years of QA and automation experience, strong enterprise testing expertise, SAFe/Agile, and active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, information systems, or related field.
10+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale automated testing solutions.
Expert-level knowledge of automated testing methodologies, test design techniques, test data management, regression testing, defect management, and QA practices.
Experience developing and maintaining automated tests within Agile software development environments.
Familiarity with SAFe and Agile delivery practices.
Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD platforms and source-control tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for ERP and data defects.
Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute program-level test and evaluation plans.
Coordinate testing activities with Army test organizations, ERP program staff, functional stakeholders, and the lead system integrator.
Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, traceability artifacts, and automated test suites from requirements and designs.
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable test automation frameworks for CI/CD environments.
Develop automated test scripts, reusable components, data approaches, and execution processes.
Establish and implement test automation standards, governance, and quality controls in Agile/SAFe.
Translate ERP requirements into maintainable automated test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, API, end-to-end, and risk-based testing.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD/CT pipelines and promote continuous testing.
