Job summary

Care Access is seeking a Senior Engineer, Test Automation to design and advance automated testing infrastructure supporting regulated software platforms. The role focuses on Playwright-based end-to-end testing, GxP validation, and integration with CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and compliance across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software or QA engineering with hands-on experience building reliable automation frameworks, plus curiosity for AI tooling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or QA engineering experience in test automation.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and GxP validation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve the end-to-end test automation framework using Playwright across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Author and maintain release validation documents for compliance (21 CFR Part 11, GxP).
• Explore AI-assisted testing techniques (LLM-based test generation, intelligent failure triage) to extend coverage.
• Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines while balancing speed and rigor for regulated environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and quality teams to shift quality left and surface risks early.
• Share QA knowledge and contribute to process improvements across the team.
