You will work with robotics-enabled systems, automate hardware tests, and collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure precise results and rapid issue resolution. This role emphasizes hands-on hardware, scripting, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python programming with strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing hardware faults, including electrical failures of key components and mechanical modifications to test fixtures.
• Experience with deploying and commissioning physical test fixtures that incorporate robotics or other motion control systems, including integration, calibration, and functional verification.
• Hands-on experience deploying automated test fixtures including mechanical assembly and setup.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management systems like Ansible or Puppet for configuration control.
• Experience with shell scripting, networking protocols, and managing macOS systems.
• Self-sufficient problem-solving abilities with excellent analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with distributed teams.

• Maintain lab operations including timely resolution of open actions and general facility upkeep.
• Collaborate with cross-location engineering teams to run experiments and validate test results.
