Job summary

Econolite is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to advance our automated test systems for ITS products. You will develop tests in C++, Python, Qt, and C#/.NET, and work across Windows and embedded Linux environments.

You will help expand CI pipelines, validate Web services and APIs, and contribute to debugging, documentation, and cross-functional reviews within the Test and Support Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in CS/engineering.
• Strong programming in C++, Python; Qt UI design knowledge.
• Experience with embedded Linux and internal tools in Visual Studio.
• Familiar with automation frameworks and test methodologies.
• Know-how of web protocols, security testing, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and tools.
• Support and enhance automation frameworks for products.
• Create automated tests for Web services, APIs, and embedded software.
• Help build scalable CI pipelines and maintain tools.
• Troubleshoot across Windows and embedded Linux and document results.
• Participate in code/design reviews and ensure testability.
