Lead and mature the enterprise testing strategy across all business units. Develop a scalable, future‑ready quality engineering approach that strengthens reliability, accelerates delivery, and ensures consistency across teams and products—especially within C++ and embedded‑system environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise-wide testing strategy and roadmap.
- Establish a test architecture covering unit, integration, system, e2e, performance, and reliability testing.
- Drive consistent use of modern testing practices such as the Test Pyramid.
- Provide leadership across business units to elevate quality culture and engineering excellence.
- Guide automation principles and tooling direction without prescribing specific frameworks.
- Oversee CI/CD quality gates and ensure reliable, actionable test integration.
- Identify opportunities to introduce AI for test generation, prioritization, and failure analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Software, DevOps, Architecture, and Product teams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience building testing strategies for complex systems including C++ and embedded software.
- Proven leadership of Test Engineering or QE/SDET teams across multiple product areas.
- Ability to define testing frameworks and quality approaches without tying the org to specific tools.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, quality gates, and automation fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated traits: hungry, humble, and smart.
Nice to Have
- Experience testing embedded systems including real‑time or resource‑constrained environments.
- Familiarity with C++ static analysis and memory‑safety tooling.
- Exposure to AI‑augmented testing or analytics‑driven quality insights.
- Experience with long‑run reliability or system‑level validation.
