Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the App Test team to design, build, and scale tools powering automated test lifecycles across our platforms. You’ll enable engineers to author, select, execute, debug, and triage tests with AI-enhanced efficiency.

You will tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, cross-platform automation, and developer tooling, driving early quality and faster software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Go, or similar.
• Ability to own projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale test automation infrastructure across Roblox platforms.
• Develop AI-native test lifecycle tooling to improve authoring, selection, and maintenance.
• Design test orchestration and intelligence to enable fast feedback.
• Implement intelligent test selection balancing coverage, time, and cost.
• Integrate automated quality checks into CI/CD workflows.
• Lead technical initiatives from design to production.
