Job summary

Forge Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to support the U.S. Army. You will develop test plans, create test cases, and automate test execution using Selenium while ensuring quality and security compliance.

The role requires nine years of experience, a U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain 508 and Security+ within 90 days. This is a remote position with DMV/NCR preference and a salary range of $150k–$155k per year.

  • 508 testing experience.
  • Ability to obtain 508 certification within 90 days of start and Security+ within 90 days of start.
  • Favorable T2 eligibility (government project within last 24 months).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support client methodology, process, and related procedures.
  • Independently complete project tasks.
  • Create and maintain a Test Plan document and capture in JIRA.
  • Create and maintain Test Cases for each user story, defect, issue, or incident in JIRA.
  • Capture test results for each test case.
  • Develop automation for test case execution in Selenium and other tools.
  • Perform tool-assisted testing for performance and security testing.
  • Provide test reports for project tracking meetings and ad-hoc.
  • Support QA processes to build a high-quality application.
  • Test application compliance with client security requirements and identify gaps.
  • Deliver Enterprise Lifecycle documentation as scheduled.
  • Train client staff in test scripts, CI, or related areas.

Requirement: Senior Test Automation Engineer
Job Description:

Forge requires a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team supporting the U.S. Army. This individual will develop an understanding of the product requirements, develop test plans, and ensure the quality of developed functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support for client methodology, process, and related procedures.
  • Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks.
  • Creation and maintenance of a Test Plan document and capturing this information in JIRA
  • Create and maintain Test Cases for each user story, defect, issue, or incident in JIRA. Each test case is trackable and traceable in the context of a user story, defect, issue, or incident.
  • Capturing test results corresponding to each test case mentioned above.
  • Develop automation for test case execution in Selenium and other automated testing tools.
  • Perform tool‑assisted testing for performance testing and security testing
  • Provide test reports for established periodic project tracking meetings and on ad‑hoc basis.
  • Support Quality Assurance process and procedures to build a high‑quality application.
  • Test application compliance with client security requirements and identify gaps.
  • Deliver Enterprise Lifecycle documentation as needed per the project schedule.
  • As needed, train client staff in test scripts, continuous integration, or other work areas that the contractor has performed.
