Job summary

Nokia seeks an experienced Sr. Test Automation Engineer to lead quality initiatives and act as a functional manager within the team. You will drive test strategy, E2E automation, and scale testing for distributed systems, mentoring colleagues and influencing resilient product delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on automation, framework diversity, cloud/Kubernetes environments, and strong collaboration across engineering functions to improve stability and performance of Nokia's offerings.

Qualifications

Hands on test automation development is a MUST.
Experience with a variety of test automation frameworks is a MUST.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to the team for end to end test automation.
Be hands-on in Test Automation development for a new product.
Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for E2E, scale and soak testing.
Execute and oversee scale and soak testing using devices simulators, hardware devices and traffic generators.
Ensure the stability and reliability through regression testing.
Apply chaos engineering to test distributed systems' resilience.
Collaborate with teams to integrate and automate testing processes.
Analyze and report test results with insights and recommendations.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in testing methodologies.
Mentor and train team members to foster continuous learning.
