Capgemini is seeking a seasoned Test Automation Architect to lead enterprise automation efforts from design to deployment. The role focuses on building scalable UI/API/DB/test automation frameworks across cloud-native, microservices environments.

You will mentor global QA teams and shape governance, KPIs, and continuous testing practices within Agile/DevOps settings. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in automation leadership, deep expertise in Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, and API

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Test Automation, Quality Engineering, and QA Leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, API Automation, Python, and Java.
• Experience designing scalable UI, API, Database, and Integration Test Automation Frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OAuth, contract testing, service virtualization, and microservices testing.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD integration using Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application testing; OpenShift a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise test automation strategy aligned with quality objectives.
• Architect, design, and govern scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, Database, and Integration testing.
• Establish automation standards, governance models, quality KPIs, and best practices.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases.
• Lead automation efforts for cloud-native, distributed, and microservices applications.
• Define test strategies for contract testing, service virtualization, and complex integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables and executive reporting.
• Mentor QA Architects and Engineers on framework design and quality engineering practices.
