Job summary

Test Architect – Aircraft Onboard Platform and Application Systems in Hillsboro, OR, onsite. Senior QA lead responsible for defining the quality strategy for an Edge Compute Hosting Platform that supports secure hosting, orchestration, deployment and lifecycle management of applications across distributed edge environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Quality Engineering with 5+ years in a Test Architect/Lead role.
• Experience testing Edge Compute, Cloud-Native, Distributed Systems or Hosting Platforms.
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker and AWS expertise.
• Hands-on Linux and Embedded Systems platforms experience.
• Experience validating microservices, APIs, containers, and cloud-edge deployments.
• Solid knowledge of security, performance, scalability and resilience testing.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end test strategy, test architecture and quality governance.
• Lead functional, integration, API, system, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Validate containerized hosting, orchestration, workload lifecycle, and multi-tenancy.
• Drive cloud-edge integration testing, provisioning and OTA updates.
• Lead non-functional validation including reliability, resiliency, security and disaster recovery.
• Establish automated test frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps and Platform Engineering for release readiness and quality metrics.
