The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Test & Evaluation Laboratory Technician to join our team in Patuxent River, MD, supporting the MQ-25 Flight Test Program. Extensive travel to St. Louis, MO, and Lakehurst, NJ on domestic temporary assignment will be required.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
• 10+ years of experience interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definition.
• 10+ years of experience with sensors and instrumentation including strain gauges, temperature/pressure measurement, accelerometers, and deflection transducers.
• Experience inspecting, fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses or associated components.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
• 10+ years of experience interpreting electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and definition
• 10+ years of experience with various types of sensors and instrumentation including strain gages, temperature / pressure measurement, accelerometers, and deflection transducers
• Experience inspecting, fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses; or any variety of electrical components, and associated equipment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Extensive experience in the installation and check-out of strain gauges, pressure transducers, accelerometers, fuel flow meters, and thermocouple / RTD sensors, etc
• Experience troubleshooting signal conditioning equipment and skill setting up numerous sensor types for program requirements
• Background mentoring / training lower-level technicians while working under minimal direction
