Job summary

Buxton Consulting is seeking a Senior Test Analyst with 7+ years of experience to lead or participate in the technical implementation of software and systems, automating complex business processes. The role requires elicitation and documentation of requirements, working with cross-functional teams including SMEs, architects, developers, and testers, and producing comprehensive test deliverables.

The candidate will support hybrid on-site work in West Sacramento, CA, with 2-3 days on client

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a Test Analyst in large organizations.
Experience leading or participating in the technical implementation of pension/retirement-related software projects.
Proficiency with test planning, test cases, and regression testing.
Experience documenting requirements and traceability across projects.

Responsibilities

Assess analysis scope and plan business analysis tasks.
Elicit, define, and document business, user, and system requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams including SMEs, architects, developers, and testers.
Prepare test plans, test cases, and document test results.
Maintain and adjust regression test plans for maintenance releases.
