Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure-as-code foundations that power our cloud and hybrid environments. This role centers on reusable Terraform modules, policy enforcement, and scalable state management across accounts and clouds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of cloud infrastructure/DevOps experience, with strong Terraform focus.
• Hands-on with production Terraform across at least one major cloud provider.
• Design reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs and version discipline.
• Experience with Terraform state management, backends, and large-scale workspaces.
• Strong scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code and policy enforcement.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
• Git-based workflows, code review, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code across cloud accounts and environments.
• Build reusable Terraform modules with clear interfaces and documentation.
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with plan/apply gating and policy enforcement.
• Define and enforce policy-as-code using Sentinel/OPA/Checkov.
• Manage Terraform state at scale with backends and state locking.
• Lead multi-account, multi-region, multi-cloud provisioning strategies.
• Implement infrastructure testing with terraform-compliance, Terratest, and policy tests.
• Collaborate with security/networking/platform teams to embed guardrails.
• Standardize secrets management, identity federation, and least-privilege IAM.
• Mentor teams on Terraform best practices and PR review standards.
