Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering seeks an Experienced Structural Engineer for its Temporary Works Group. The role focuses on innovative design engineering, on-site coordination, and review of calculations for temporary structures on design-build projects.

Applicants should have 5+ years of experience, a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (MS preferred), and US PE licensure or eligibility. Relocation to multiple offices may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth

Qualifications

• Accredited BS in Civil or Structural Engineering; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure or US eligibility.
• Experience with temporary structures and construction engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and calculations for temporary works and construction methods.
• Review and perform structural calculations for stability of temporary structures.
• Lead erection sequencing and planning for heavy lifts and crane operations.
• Evaluate existing structures for construction loads and demolition planning.
• Support excavation systems, cofferdams, falsework, and temporary bridges.
• Assist project management with budgets, schedules, and client coordination.
