Job summary

Akina, Inc. seeks an Engineer for TEMPEST, RF, cryptographic devices at Fort Meade, MD. TS/SCI with polygraph is required. You will test TEMPEST, recommend engineering changes, and work onsite with the customer team to safeguard critical systems.

You will collaborate with TEMPEST SMEs, review ECPs, and participate in technical meetings. A degree in engineering plus extensive TEMPEST experience is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline
• 10+ years of related professional experience
• 3+ years of TEMPEST testing and/or TEMPEST manufacturing experience
• Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II (CTP-II)
• TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Perform TEMPEST testing and provide TEMPEST engineering recommendations
• Learn from TEMPEST SMEs and share TEMPEST expertise
• Work onsite with the customer integrated into their team
• Ensure TEMPEST testing requirements are defined by the CTTA
• Evaluate ECPs to ensure TEMPEST integrity or mandate additional testing
• Attend technical meetings with crypto device users and partners
• Provide TEMPEST lab testing of certified cryptographic devices
• Perform TEMPEST field testing to uncover vulnerabilities
• Provide SME support when a TEMPEST vulnerability is identified
