Position Overview

The Senior Financial Center Associate manages the operations of the financial center staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines. This individual assists in supervising staff, has a working knowledge of all essential duties, and works closely with management to set and achieve goals. Additionally, this role involves assisting customers with account openings as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform financial center operational duties, including paying and receiving activities, accurately and within guidelines.
  • Operate and balance cash drawers efficiently.
  • Provide customer service through transactions, telephone, and in-person assistance.
  • Maintain appropriate cash levels and ensure they are managed properly.
  • Participate in and promote sales, service programs, and team events.
  • Have a working knowledge of all essential financial center duties.
  • Ensure accurate operation of cash drawers and processing systems.
  • Manage daily ATM settlement and vault transactions, including preparing reports and monitoring security.
  • Provide safe deposit box services as needed.
  • Order currency and coins, and handle vault shipments.
  • Manage time effectively to complete operational duties on schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations related to deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and currency reporting.
  • Authorize payments exceeding the financial center limit.
  • Maintain security controls to prevent criminal and fraudulent activities.
  • Prepare reports as assigned by management.
  • Assist in monitoring over/short records per guidelines.
Education & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Minimum two years of related experience preferred. Flexibility in work schedule required. Notary experience preferred or ability to obtain one.

Proficient reading, writing, grammar, accounting, analytical, and math skills; moderate computer skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; moderate typing and office skills; management and supervisory abilities; physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs., and use various senses; valid driver’s license required.
