ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Relationship Building
- Build and maintain relationships with customers by preparing for interactions, building rapport, and understanding their financial goals through effective questioning.
- Match customer needs with Seacoast Bank products and services, confidently explaining offerings and creating opportunities for referrals.
- Exhibit strong listening and communication skills, respond promptly to customer requests, and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Embrace technology and industry changes, participate in community events, and collaborate with team members.
- Demonstrate proficiency in consumer deposit and lending products, outbound calling, and customer technology.
- Develop basic knowledge of small business deposit products and processes.
Operational Functions
- Process transactions in accordance with policies, ensure compliance with AML/BSA and audit requirements, and assist in audit remediation.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally, balance cash drawer daily, and follow safety and security procedures.
- Oversee branch operations, including vault and ATM responsibilities, and maintain audit and compliance documentation.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 12 months of cash handling experience required.
- Retail sales and/or financial services experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and occasional non-bank hours.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency with technology and Microsoft Office.
