Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with calculator.
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related PC skills.
• Self-motivated with initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments.
• Assist tellers and front-line staff with complex transactions and provide overrides within limits.
• Open new accounts and cross-sell bank products/services; explain options and gather signatures.
• Balance vault and perform vault duties; manage coin/currency and prepare change orders.
• Provide notary service and respond to customer inquiries by in person, phone, or mail.
• Open/close branches as scheduled respecting security and dual-control requirements.
• Perform ongoing maintenance on customer accounts and update information as needed.
