Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Automation Telemetry Engineer to support telemetry systems development, data delivery, and internal data needs across facilities. You will review metering specs, network diagrams, and configuration sheets to implement telemetry collection systems.

The role requires hands-on ownership, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation. Travel ~10% and a hybrid in-office schedule in various US locations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Automation Systems, Telemetry, Data Analytics, OT systems, or related fields.
• Data Center experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and telemetry data flows.
• Experience maintaining telemetry documentation and configuration sheets.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain telemetry collection, usage tracking, and operational data applications.
• Configure telemetry systems, points lists, configuration sheets, and related documentation.
• Support customer telemetry, usage reporting, data validation, and operational reporting needs.
• Review and maintain telemetry data flows for accuracy and availability.
• Test, commission, and support telemetry infrastructure; own deliverables from start to finish.
• Proactively communicate risks, blockers, and schedule impacts.
