Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Automation Telemetry Engineer to support telemetry collection, validation, and usage reporting across multiple facilities. You will review metering specs, network diagrams, and configuration sheets to implement telemetry collection systems and ensure data accuracy in live environments.

The role emphasizes ownership, proactive communication, and cross-team collaboration within the Automation Systems Group.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Automation Systems, Telemetry, Data Analytics, OT systems, or related fields.
• 5-7 years preferred.
• Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Understanding telemetry systems, metering infrastructure, usage tracking methodologies, operational data flows, and data validation practices.
• Experience maintaining points lists, configuration sheets, tag mappings, telemetry records, or similar technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain telemetry collection, usage tracking, and operational data applications.
• Configure and maintain telemetry systems, points lists, configuration sheets, and associated documentation.
• Support customer telemetry, usage reporting, data validation, and operational reporting requirements.
• Review, validate, and maintain telemetry data flows to ensure accuracy and availability.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and support of telemetry infrastructure.
• Own assigned deliverables from initiation through completion.
• Proactively communicate risks, blockers, schedule impacts, and changes in priority.
