Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for large-scale long-haul fiber installation projects. You will develop project plans, monitor performance, and provide expert solutions while mentoring colleagues.

This role requires coordinating across multiple sites and states. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in telecom construction, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of construction documents and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes

Working Conditions:

• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
• This is a site-based position that will require travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites through multiple states
