Job summary

TrueNet Communications in the United States seeks an Installation Technician responsible for structured cabling, installation of voice and data systems, networks, and wireless.

You will manage tools, calibrations, project documentation, and coordinate with customers and vendors to deliver quality installations on time.

A high school diploma or GED is required; 6 years telecom experience preferred; travel up to 50% and ability to pass background checks are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical training desired.
• Minimum 6 years telecommunication training/experience.
• Proficiency at Technician III level.
• Strong problem solving and discretion with confidential information.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and Windows skills.
• Able to multitask with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling and voice/data systems and wireless networks.
• Perform installations and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Manage project tasks, inventory, and subordinates to ensure quality and safety.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors, prepare method of procedure.
• Ensure accurate final paperwork and timely project completion.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies.
