Job summary

Ribbon Communications in North Carolina seeks an experienced Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to develop and bring up PCB-based hardware for carrier and enterprise telecom products. You will collaborate with multi-site HW and firmware teams to deliver prototypes and production hardware, and support ongoing field deployments.

Requirements include a B.S. in EE, 10+ years in telecom hardware, test/debug tools like oscilloscopes, and hands-on experience with RTOS, Linux, and Verilog/VHDL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Development of electrical hardware used in telecommunications equipment.
• Design, documentation and testing of prototype and production designs.
• On-going support of production hardware products, including supporting customer service groups, manufacturing and deployment.
