Job summary

Ribbon Communications is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design and Bring-up Engineer to develop hardware for a broad telecom product portfolio. You will work with a multi-site team of HW and Firmware Engineers to bring up and support both new and legacy products for Carrier and Enterprise customers.

The role requires hands-on design, testing, and collaboration with manufacturing, product management, and installation teams to achieve time-to-market and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years related experience in electrical hardware.
• Familiarity with telecom principles and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical hardware for telecom equipment.
• Design, document and test prototype and production designs.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to hit timelines and costs.
• Provide ongoing support for production hardware and customers.
