Responsibilities

• Serve as expert and technical advisor on complex economic issues in telecommunications and regulatory policy.
• Respond to special requests for analyses, research, and studies for policymaking and for preparation of testimony before Congressional Committees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data collections for economic analyses of competition and pricing in telecommunications markets.
• Initiate and conduct economic research and develop analytical techniques for regulation of telecommunications markets.
• Develop economic models and apply econometric techniques to evaluate industry behavior and regulatory impacts.
