Job summary

Meta is seeking a Telecom Conveyance Engineer to lead the design and standardization of physical conveyance infrastructure for our data center campuses. You will own the technical strategy for how connectivity is routed across hyperscale facilities, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure scalable, maintainable systems.

The role emphasizes prefabrication, modular design, and developing design-for-manufacturing principles to reduce on-site construction

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years of data center or mission-critical facility design experience with cable pathway or conveyance focus.
• Experience with outside plant design including conduit routing and inter-building connectivity pathways.
• Familiarity with relevant standards (TIA-568, TIA-569, BICSI TDMM) and building codes (NEC, NFPA, IBC).
• Experience coordinating with civil, structural, and network engineering teams to integrate conveyance systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own technical strategy for outside plant connectivity pathways.
• Lead design and standardization of inside plant connectivity pathways.
• Architect row conveyance solutions coordinating cable tray and electrical systems.
• Design and standardize multi-trade rack configurations for power, network, and cooling.
• Advance prefabrication strategy for pathway assemblies with modular design packages.
