Job summary

Meta seeks a Telecom Conveyance Engineer to lead design and standardisation of physical pathways for telecom systems across its data centre campuses. You will own the technical strategy for connectivity routing—from outside plant to in-building systems—covering conduit, tray, trench, and multi-trade racks across hyperscale facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years of data centre or mission-critical facility design.
• Experience designing cable tray, conduit, busway, and overhead/underground distribution architectures.
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards (TIA‑568, TIA‑569, BICSI TDMM) and NEC/NFPA/IBC codes.

Responsibilities

• Define and own technical strategy and design standards for outside plant connectivity pathways.
• Lead the design and standardisation of inside plant connectivity pathways.
• Architect integrated row conveyance solutions coordinating cable tray, electrical busway, and water distribution systems.
• Drive Meta’s prefabrication strategy for pathway assemblies with modular design packages and field standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure pathway designs meet multi-trade requirements.
