Job summary

Meta is seeking a senior Telecom Conveyance Engineer to lead design and standardisation of data centre pathway infrastructure across its global campus portfolio. You will define how underground conduit, cable tray, and racks are arranged, coordinating with electrical, mechanical, civil and network teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years in data centre or mission‑critical facility design with focus on cable pathway or conveyance.
• Experience with cable tray, conduit, busway, and overhead/under‑floor distributions.
• Knowledge of outside plant design and inter‑building connectivity pathways.
• Familiarity with standards (TIA‑568, TIA‑569, BICSI TDMM) and codes (NEC, NFPA, IBC).
• Ability to coordinate across civil, structural, and network disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Define and own strategy and design standards for OSP and ISP connectivity pathways.
• Architect integrated row conveyance solutions coordinating multiple systems.
• Lead multi‑trade rack configurations for power, network, and cooling.
• Drive prefabrication strategy with modular design packages and qualification criteria.
• Develop design‑for‑manufacturing principles for off‑site prefabrication.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to meet trade requirements and site master plans.
• Establish capacity planning frameworks for growth and evolving densities.
• Create automation templates and parametric models for scalable pathway design.
• Iterate designs based on feedback and evolving infrastructure needs.
