Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services, a leader in North American telecom construction, is seeking experienced Senior Superintendents to oversee field operations on large-scale fiber installation projects. You will develop project plans, monitor progress, and mentor crews.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years as a telecommunications construction superintendent, strong leadership, and knowledge of underground fiber installation. Willingness to travel across multiple states and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a telecommunications construction superintendent.
Experience with underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or related discipline is an asset.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to supervise craft employees and sub-contractors.
Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and practices.

Responsibilities

Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee investigations.
Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules.
Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
Manage reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project.
Participate in subcontractor, supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents.
