Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Component Engineering team. The role focuses on developing repairs for aircraft components, emphasizing composites and sheet metal structures within the component maintenance framework.

You will provide engineering support, issue paperwork, and ensure compliance with FAA and other regulations while collaborating across maintenance and engineering groups to drive cost-effective, reliable repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in structural repairs, especially composites and sheet metal.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex repairs for aircraft components with emphasis on composite and sheet metal structures.
• Issue engineering paperwork (ER/As, PRIs, drawings) to support component-level work.
• Maintain compliance with FAA, DOT, OSHA and EPA regulations and Delta TOPP.
