Job summary

Amazon Identity Security and Abuse Prevention seeks a Senior Technology Program Manager to secure hundreds of thousands of workforce users and tens of millions of customer interactions. You will drive authentication product strategy spanning frontend, backend, and data systems, partnering with security, CS, UX, and engineering to scale across Amazon operations.

You will lead complex programs end-to-end, influence without authority, and translate business needs into secure, high-value engineering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact.
• Deliver and maintain the overall strategy, driving teams inside and outside of the organization to deliver results.
• Design the next generation of customer service authentication systems, meeting the needs of the future of the business.
• Gain consensus across teams in the security organization and the business. Influencing without authority, always seeking to enable the business securely.
• Provide context for business/technology choices with a lens to long-term value.
• Communicate effectively at multiple levels of management, building trust across the organization, and demonstrating discretion with sensitive information.
• Break abstract goals into attainable, measurable work items.
