Job summary

PMY Group seeks an experienced Senior Technology Project Manager to lead public sector technology consulting engagements in Minnesota. The role requires audiovisual design and engineering expertise, with working knowledge of structured cabling, network infrastructure, and electronic security systems.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, and procurement activities while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience managing AV technology or multiple concurrent technology consulting projects.
• Experience serving public sector clients with understanding of procurement requirements.
• Willingness to travel throughout Minnesota and occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, workshops, site visits, and stakeholder coordination sessions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and trusted advisory services.
• Manage client expectations, project priorities, and decision‑making processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present project recommendations, budgets, schedules, and findings to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
• Lead multiple concurrent technology and low voltage consulting projects from planning through closeout.
