Bank of America is seeking an engineering leader responsible for building and guiding a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. You will coach, mentor, and develop teammates while shaping technology strategy and ensuring compliance with standards.

You will advocate modern Agile delivery, promote strong design and engineering practices, and collaborate with Product Management to align execution with product strategy.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in designing, building, and deploying scalable, fault tolerant, and high-performance distributed solutions.
• Expertise in building microservices and deploying workloads via CICD.
• Expert in application architecture, system performance optimization and solving complex problems.
• Technologies used - .NET, Angular, Redis, relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding and experience building applications deployable on containers, including network security, access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Leading agile/scrum development team.
• Demonstrated experience as engineering leader, driving successful project execution/deliverables.

• Be accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews).
• Contribute to the technology strategy for their technical domain.
• Ensure that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Create an inclusive and healthy working environment, and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
• Lead and create followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.

Position Summary:

Their primary responsibility is to the people they manage, ensuring they are developing through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands on career development. Other key responsibilities may include contributing to a technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards. Pay range

$135,900.00 - $220,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
