Job summary

TechPipeline, Inc. seeks a Senior Licensing Officer to identify technologies with commercial potential, evaluate licensing prospects, and prepare marketing information for outreach.

The SLO will draft and negotiate mid- to large-sized license agreements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. The role includes mentoring licensing analysts and interns, supporting faculty and researchers in engineering and physical sciences, and managing a portfolio of 100+ technologies with targeted industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Six years of relevant corporate licensing or university technology commercialization/transfer experience.
• 8–12 years relevant corporate licensing or university technology commercialization/transfer experience.

Responsibilities

• Faculty Outreach and Invention Disclosure Cultivation: Drive engagement with faculty and campus leaders to foster innovation and disclosures.
• IP Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of 100+ technologies and oversee patent prosecution.
• Licensing Strategy Development: Formulate tailored licensing strategies using market research.
• Deal Negotiation and Licensing: Participate in negotiations for licensing agreements and options.
