Job description

Job Description

The Technology Experience Consultant is a strategic business role responsible for representing the end-user voice in technology decisions and driving the product roadmap for RBC Wealth Management. This position serves as the primary liaison between field operations, wealth management leadership, and technology teams—ensuring that technology investments directly support advisor productivity, client experience, and business profitability. The role combines strategic influence over product direction with hands‑on accountability for adoption execution and serving as the escalation point for complex user issues and second‑level support.

What is the opportunity?

TEC serves as the subject matter expert voice bridging technology with field needs — representing financial advisors, client associates, and clients to help shape the end‑user experience. • Identify opportunities to leverage initiatives across multiple business channels
  • Influence the development of new and enhanced technology, policy and procedures
  • Define the entrance and exit criteria for pilot(s) and rollouts
  • Develop pilot and rollout plan for new and ongoing technology initiatives, sequencing timelines against other pilots, rollouts and competing business priorities
  • Collaborate across internal departments on messaging and supporting materials to ensure consistent communication, awareness and adoption
  • Own the training and support approach for new and enhanced technology as well as all new and existing collateral materials (user guides, handbooks) are up to date and effective

Nice to Have
  • Strong business technology background - able to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Advance technology and presentation skills: MS Office, Web-based learning tools, digital collaboration and presentation tools
