Job summary
Community Health Systems (Wisconsin) seeks a Senior Technology Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise technology solutions. The role manages complex configurations, integrations, and enhancements while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders to meet standards.
Responsibilities include guiding junior engineers, supporting testing and releases, and producing technical docs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or software eng preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in technology systems engineering or related IT discipline.
- Deep expertise in VMware / vSphere hypervisor management.
- Strong AD management and Entra ID implementation.
- Experience with tier-zero apps (DHCP, DNS).
- Windows Server ecosystem familiarity; scripting/automation exposure.
- Microsoft and CompTIA certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology configuration, customization, and integration activities.
- Design and implement system enhancements that improve usability and performance.
- Troubleshoot high-impact issues and coordinate resolution across teams.
- Develop technical documentation, process flows, and system diagrams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.
- Support testing, release management, and environment validation processes.
