Burns Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer to lead non-routine, high-complexity design tasks across multiple disciplines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with project goals and Burns standards.

You will mentor junior designers and ensure timely, high-quality work. The role requires strong technical and analytical skills and a proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, with a focus on delivering design excellence

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive drafting and design experience.
• Healthcare design experience focusing on structured cabling and AV systems in conference/training spaces.

Responsabilités

• Determine appropriate 2-D or 3-D software to complete design drawings for projects and teams.
• Perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and high complexity.
• Coordinate designs among all disciplines and with client representatives.
• Review designs to ensure Burns quality standards and client expectations.
• Mentor early career engineers, designers, and interns.
