Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business objectives with technology delivery. You will lead discovery, capture requirements, interview stakeholders, and document current and future state processes to guide development.

Working with the Director of Product Management, you will align scope, manage dependencies, maintain traceability, support agile ceremonies, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives that deliver measurable value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of business analysis or related delivery experience.
• Experience in animal health, healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries preferred.
• Experience documenting processes, system interactions, and workflows.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, middleware, or external partner platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in agile delivery environments and software development practices.

The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role as a bridge between business and technology teams, leading discovery, requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, and delivery coordination for complex cross-functional initiatives. The Senior BA excels at collaboration, stakeholder management, and requirements gathering and execution.

Working closely with the Director of Product Management, the Senior Business Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting strategic initiatives by translating complex business objectives into actionable requirements that enable the company to deliver value to customers efficiently and effectively.

• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, system interactions, and data flows.
• Translate business objectives and stakeholder input into well-structured epics, acceptance criteria, and business functional requirements that guide development.
• Communicate effectively through both synchronous and asynchronous channels.
• Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the initiative lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between business, product management, and technology teams.
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and support informed decision-making through workshops and discovery sessions.
• Collaborate with product and technology peers to support discovery, planning, and execution activities.
• Build trust-based relationships across departments to drive consensus and resolve conflicts
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, impacts and key decisions.
• In partnership with the Director of Product Management, align on discovery scope, schedule, and approach.
• Lead assigned initiatives or workstreams from discovery through implementation, launch, and post-launch support, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of business objectives.
• Drive scope alignment, stakeholder coordination, and transparent communication throughout all phases of delivery.
• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes and assess downstream effects to include identifying risks and escalating appropriately.
• Capture, prioritize, and integrate feedback from customers, clients, and partners to shape solutions and internal process improvements that deliver measurable value.
• Create high-level and detailed requirements that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Align with Product and Technical team leads to refine tickets, ensure readiness for development, and create efficient dependency-based plans.
• Support those implementing the work through sprint planning, frequent communications, and participation in agile ceremonies.
• Serve as product owner and/or other roles when capacity constraints are present.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, operations, technology delivery, or related disciplines for complex initiatives.
• Experience in the animal health, healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industries preferred.
• Experience documenting business processes, system interactions, integrations, and operational workflows.
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, middleware, EDI transactions, or external partner platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in agile delivery environments and software development practices.
• Preferred experience supporting customer service, fulfillment, ecommerce, CRM, ERP, and operational systems.
• Preferred experience with payment processing, taxation, invoicing, reconciliation, or related financial operations.

Pay Range

$90,000—$115,000 USD
