As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets. You will utilize your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and use hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart's safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

Compensation:

• Compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and job offer level.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00-$51.00, with actual pay depending on location and other factors. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position:

• Option 1: 10 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• Option 2: 8 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
• Universal EPA Certification.

• Completion of a 2-year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or an AAS in A/C and refrigeration.
