$26.00/hr - $51.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, you are invited to bring your skills to our dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets in Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills.
• Utilize hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Manage repair activities using the work order system and document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete safety and operational training for equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and move ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR.
• At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information

Compensation packages are based on experience and qualifications, with eligibility for bonuses. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), stock purchase, paid leave, education benefits, and more. The hourly wage range is $26.00-$51.00, with potential premiums based on work circumstances.

Minimum qualifications include extensive HVAC/refrigeration experience and EPA certification. Preferred qualifications include completion of a technical HVAC program, excellent driving record, and experience with Glycol and C02 systems.
