Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will make an impact as a maintenance technician by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. You will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs within the designated timeframe, and conducting training for Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience in maintenance
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 1 year' experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required documentation (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs)

• Have previous experience in maintenance (including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc.)
• Understand the importance of Customer Service and have clear, transparent, and respectful communication

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$40.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications:

Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or related; or 7 years' experience in these trades. Valid Driver's License and eligibility for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Experience with intermediate-level software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

Optional qualifications that are advantageous but not required.
