What are we looking for?

The Senior Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.

What you’ll do:

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (e.g., soil, concrete, or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and diagrams.
• Maintain and calibrate standard equipment.
• Perform complex assignments; use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
• Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of related materials testing experience.
• ACI Field, ATTI Field, ICC Reinforced Concrete, and ICC Soils Special Inspector OR ACI Special Inspector certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to work off-shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information verbally and to discriminate sounds.
• Ability to kneel, squat, walk, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to climb and work at various heights.
• Willingness to work overnight and off-shift hours.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Additional industry-specific certifications.
