· At least 5 years' relevant experience as a VTC and Audio Visual Technician
· Practical experience in planning, installing, or maintaining audio/visual equipment and their associated voice or data terminal, line, and routing equipment
· Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Audio/Visual and simultaneous interpretation equipment
· Experience in a customer service support environment
· Experience in problem and incident management
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
· Prior experience working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certified
· Polycom Certified Videoconferencing Engineer (PCVE) Certified
· Info Comm AV Installation Level 1: System Fabrication
· Working knowledge of Crestron / Extron Control Units
DUTIES/ROLE:
· Support the VTC and audio/visual (VTC and A/V) services provided by the CSU in accordance with service level agreements and other formal service arrangements
· Coordinate directly with relevant front office staff to provide VIP level VTC facilitator services to FOGOs and HQ staff
· Coordinate with customer OPR to establish requirements for VIP conference support (VTC and A/V), translate requirements into agreed service provisioning, and manage service delivery
· Support the Agency's VTC Network Operations Centre to ensure seamless service delivery across the NATO enterprise and function as the gateway for establishing VTCs between NATO and external customers, especially between USN afloat assets and other Allies
· Support the Senior Technician as the alternate CIS point of contact (POC) for VTC and A/V asset management, providing first & second line support throughout the CSUNorfolk area
· Support NCIA NDW VTC Engineers in maintaining NATO WIDE VTC Infrastructure systems, and update or replace obsolete subsystems as required
· Act as the NCI Agency point of presence in North America for all VTC and A/V services, including managing industry contracts
· Serve as the subject matter expert for all VTC and A/V matters, including developing courses of action and risk assessments
