Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking a seasoned Clinical Engineering Leader to guide the clinical equipment program across hospital sites. You will supervise technicians, install and service complex medical equipment, and educate staff on system integrations.

The role requires 5+ years in clinical engineering, strong leadership, and a track record of influencing teams and delivering excellent customer service. This on-site position supports daily operations and project implementations within a hospital

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
• TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical certification waives the degree requirement.
• Technical certifications such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• CE experience and knowledge is required.
• Ability to influence others and to lead, mentor, and influence staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Job description

• Guide and direct the clinical equipment program in a single hospital and/or multiple sites
• Direct the work of technicians in assigned locations under the supervision of the Site Manager or Sr. Site Manager
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex medical equipment and systems
• Use applicable test equipment and tools to perform duties
• Educate clinical staff and others on the technical integration of medical systems
• Assist with managing daily team operations, including staff scheduling, scheduled equipment maintenance, and project implementation
• Lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff

Requirements

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
• The degree requirement is waived for TRIMEDX Trained Certification or an equivalent biomedical related certification program
• Technical Certification such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
• CE experience and knowledge
