Job summary

TriMedx, LLC is seeking a Senior Technician to guide the clinical equipment program across a hospital and multiple sites. You will direct technicians, oversee daily operations, and work under the Site Manager or Sr.

Site Manager to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and verify highly complex medical equipment. The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical/electronics degree, 5+ years of biomedical equipment experience, CE credentials, and strong leadership to educate clinical staff

Qualifications

  • 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
  • TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical certificate waives degree.
  • CE experience and ability to influence others; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with biomedical equipment in clinical engineering.

  • Lead technicians, schedule staff, and manage daily operations.

Summary

The Senior Technician guides and directs the clinical equipment program in a single hospital and/or multiple sites. The role directs the work of technicians in assigned locations while working under the supervision of the Site Manager or Sr. Site Manager. This role installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates and verifies the performance of highly complex medical equipment and systems, independent of technical supervision. The individual should be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of duties. The associate in this role is fully capable of educating others including clinical staff related to the technical integration of medical systems. The Sr. Technician provides assistance with managing daily operations of the team; including scheduling staff schedules, scheduled equipment maintenance and project implementation.

Education and Qualifications

2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required. This requirement will be waived if the applicant has received the TRIMEDX Trained Certification or completed an equivalent biomedical related certification program. Technical Certification such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment. Must have CE experience and knowledge and an ability to influence others. Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources. Ability to lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $42 - $48 per hour for this opportunity. This is the reasonable estimate that TRIMEDX believes it might pay for this particular job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. TRIMEDX may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
