Job summary

Leidos in Alexandria, VA is seeking a cleared Technical Writer to support a DoD Air Force program. The role is onsite in Alexandria with a hybrid setting, requiring TS/SCI clearance.

You will plan, edit, and produce technical documents, coordinate with engineering to ensure CDRLs meet SOW and Gov’t requirements, and collaborate with PMs and government counterparts. 12+ years experience and DoD documentation knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ experience as a technical writer; additional years may substitute for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to attain SAP clearance.
• Fluency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail; ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Experience researching information to ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Knowledge of developing DoD CDRLs following Government DIDs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative skills.
