Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the unified AMS/FIPE solution. You will collaborate with development teams, SMEs, and users to produce accurate guides and training materials for scalable deployment across government and commercial environments.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years’ technical writing experience, a Bachelor’s degree in technical communication or a related field, and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of technical writing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, or related field.
• Experience documenting complex software systems.
• Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence, Markdown).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly
• Must be U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain user guides, installation instructions, and integration guides.
• Develop training materials with clear examples and illustrations.
• Write and update release notes for each deployment.
• Create troubleshooting documentation and FAQs.
• Develop in-program tutorials for complex concepts.
• Coordinate documentation reviews with independent reviewers.
• Maintain documentation in Government-approved repositories.
• Apply appropriate classification and distribution markings.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition activities.
• Ensure documentation meets 508 compliance requirements.
