Job summary

Apryse is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to update and create concise, comprehensive documentation for our SDK products. You will work with development and product teams to translate complex features into developer-friendly guides, API references, and code samples. You’ll also produce release notes.

You’ll partner with engineers to enforce a unified documentation style, ensure accuracy, and improve Developer Experience across platforms, including testing code samples in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field
• 5+ years of experience developing documentation for developers including SDK and API documentation
• Experience managing large documentation sets and info architecture
• Translate complex technical topics into easy-to-understand docs
• Independently and cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
• Strong collaboration with product managers, engineers
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, JSON Schema
• Experience testing docs by building and running SDK apps
• Docker and CI/CD familiarity
• AI-assisted documentation experience

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and maintain documentation for software development tools and SDKs
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to align docs with roadmaps
• Enforce unified documentation style and tone
• Create and deliver targeted release notes for product updates
• Gather feedback from stakeholders and developer community to improve docs
• Champion Developer Experience best practices and stay current with new tech
• Update content based on audits and test SDK documentation
