Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a skilled Technical Writer to lead the development, management and improvement of end-user documentation for Cardiac Diagnostics hardware and software products. You will create instructional material and support publication of high-quality content.

The role requires 5+ years in technical writing within regulated environments and collaboration across product, engineering and design teams. Hybrid in Arden Hills, MN with in-office presence required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as technical communication, English, CS or journalism.
• Minimum of 5 years' professional technical writing experience, especially in software, medical or regulated environments.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting regulated medical device software and/or hardware development.
• Experience creating documentation for complex software systems, embedded software, firmware and hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Content strategy: define architecture and structure of end-user documentation for the Cardiac Diagnostics portfolio.
• Complex writing: translate technical, software and product information into clear end-user content.
• Cross-functional leadership: partner with product managers, engineers, designers and SMEs.
• Tools and process management: promote structured authoring, content reuse, metadata management and version control.
• Regulatory and quality compliance: ensure processes meet regulatory and quality guidelines.
