Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Experience with maintenance development procedures and reliability concepts (RCM, LORA, LOMA, RBS).
• Ability to communicate effectively with Coast Guard personnel.
• Experience reviewing drawings and updating technical publications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Maintenance Procedure Cards per CG guidelines.
• Conduct data calls to the fleet and research technical data.
• Provide technical recommendations for publication updates.
• Review drawings for accuracy and update as needed.
• Visit ships to collect or validate information for MPCs.
• Format information to meet process criteria and develop clear maintenance procedures.
• Modify graphics and tables to meet criteria.
• Use IT systems to route work products in MPC development.
• Meet an average of 8–10 MPCs per month; report if unable to meet.
• Maintain knowledge of Coast Guard processes and tools.
• Communicate clearly with Coast Guard and contractor personnel.
